Out of music hotbed Grand Rapids, Michigan, explodes newcomer Spencer Mulder. Mulder is a prolific young songwriter who’s confident voice, rockin' rich chord voicings, and heartfelt lyrics have proven to be the perfect prescription for a rapidly growing fan base all across the Midwest. Influenced by the likes of Ryan Adams, Paul Westerberg, and the Counting Crows, Mulder’s spin on songwriting and performance is lush, colorful, & honest, full of straight up Rock & Roll energy and emotion. Working side by side with veteran producer Michael Crittenden at Mackinaw Harvest Music Studios in Grand Rapids, Mulder created his captivating debut CD “On the Way”, released in May 2008, and has now grown into his boots with his sophomore release "Rewind" (release Sept. 2009) . In early 2009, Radio X (96.1FM-Grand Rapids, MI) picked up Mulder’s song “Rewind” and began heavy rotation. the station, now moved to 101.3-FM has since added a second single “Expired” to their playlist. Mulder and his trio are currently touring the midwest in support of the new release.
